REVISITING THE FILIGRANE

Intending to revive filigree, the Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Matosinhos, the Museu do Ouro de Travassos and the Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso developed projects designed in partnership. The first, paraphrasing Italo Calvino, was called Lightness: Reanimating Filigree. This resulted in an international traveling exhibition that took place between 2004 and 2005.
